Adeleke Reclaimes Mandate As Governor Osun State

The Appeal Court sitting in Abuja, has today dismissed the suit filed by the All Progressive Congress (APC) and Gboyega Oyetola challenging the victory of Adeleke, as governor Osun State.

Tendering verdict in the appeal filed by Adeleke on Friday, a three-member panel of judges ruled that the Election Tribunal erred when it ruled that 1st and 2nd respondents (Gboyega Oyetola and APC) proved their allegation of over-voting.

The Osun governorship election tribunal in January, held that Oyetola was able to prove that there was over- voting in some of the polling units.

The judgment has been made today in favor of Adeleke  of PDP

as the authentic Governor of Osun State by the Appeal Court.
